Natasha Coates
Club Safeguarding Officer
For those who don’t know me, my name is Natasha Coates and I am the Club’s Safeguarding Officer. As Club Safeguarding Officer I act as first point of contact for any person who has a concern about child safeguarding and protection – please feel free to contact me on 07967 293589 or email me at any time using safeguarding@oxforddowns.com. I attend most Wednesday and Friday evening junior training sessions, as well as some Saturdays, so hope to meet many of you then.
I would just like to add that ODCC is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all cricketers, young and slightly older and, as such, my role within the Club is to promote the importance of safeguarding all children and young adults (aged under 18 years) involved with our sport by following the ECB’s Safe Hands Policy for Safeguarding Children, and to ensure that all Club members, captains, vice-captains, coaches, players, parents and volunteers are fully aware of the duty of care that we ALL have to these younger members.
As a Club we have a number of policies and codes of Conduct:
Codes of Conduct for members and guests
Code of Conduct for All Stars Activators
ODCC Anti-Discrimination, Inclusion, Diversity & Equity policy
ODCC Child Safeguarding & Protection Policy
ODCC Changing Room and Showering Facilities Policy
ODCC Guidelines for dealing with an incidents or accident
ODCC Incident and or accident report form
