The skipper lost the toss – again!. If anything can be predicted in this game, as sure as night follows day, the skipper will always lose the toss! We were put in to bat and a good all round batting performance saw us to 182 with a great debut 50 for Freddie Smith which was awesome and a run a ball 22 from Will Hook was very important. When we came to bowl up steps the evergreen Steve Roberts and despite the best efforts of the Capt thinking he didn’t want his name on the honours board (gets boring) tried to take the ball from him however what a performance to take 7-38 with Cam Spilsnury bowling some serious wheels and soppo taking two. Good wkts inc an amazing catch of his chest from new boy Marcus Charman, Tiddington were blown away for 71, great team performance roll on next week
